the shoes at walmart have two separate barcodes on them: one attached to the actual shoes and one on the shoebox. to discount your shoes, take the box from a cheaper pair of the same brand, and put your more-expensive shoes into them after ripping the tag off them.

here is the cashier's thought process:

"ooo.. have to scan some shoes, lets open the box"

"hmm, there is no tag on these shoes"

"should i call for a price check? fuck it, there's a barcode on the box"

your cashier will then happily scan the box and drop the shoes into a bag for you to take home.

muha! trade secrets!

heh, in any event even if the price check did happen, you can always plead ignorant. lots of times the shoe section is a mess anyway at wal-mart. anyway, <3 mewse i need a new pair of shoes :D
