Ok, so aur definitely cannot make it in on the 14th. Which means we will have to arrange a way for him to get to my house on the 15th.

We have 2 ideas at the moment.

One is that we will go back into the Chicago area for the evening, dine out, etc. I suggest either the Chicago Chop House (shirt and slacks attire, great steak place) or Bob Chinn's Crab House (one of the best seafood places in the nation, and tee/shorts are fine). At this early time we would be able to reserve seats, but I'd need a count of how many people are going to show up.

The other is that he find a train or taxi to get over here. This is slightly less desirable.

exams suck.

basically the teach told me:
"I am leaving for (some crappy place) on the 15th and I planned to leave on the 14th. If *I* have to stay, I'm sure as hell not making up a special exam so *you* can take off"

Asshole.

Anyway, train gets in 6ish or so.

I don't want to have to drive in/out of Chicago any more than absolutely necessary.

It's a good hour to and a good hour back on a tollway, and traffic can get pretty nasty on the way in. 2 hours spent per day just travelling back and forth is just kind of sick.

Doesn't Ling already have plane tickets? I think his itinerary poses the biggest obstacle to moving it.

doesnt matter to me, provided I know before 3 days in advance so I can get the greyhound tickets for $98 instead of $120 or something
