Ok so anyway, I was talking to my parents about #doomcon2, and they had a few suggestions.

1) If we hold it starting on the 15th, my dad can help with picking people up.
2) Midway is quite a bit further to drive from my house, and it actually cuts through Chicago, and O'Hare is actually on the outskirts of Chicago in our direction, so ORD is preferable to MDW by quite a bit.
3) If we extend it to the 19th, then my dad can help with sending people off.

Discuss, those of you who are still actually coming.

a doomcon without jons means insufficient muffin provisions. im concerned that perhaps muffins will not be properly represented. please plan ahead to avoid such a disgrace upon the mao family name.

i most likely will not aquire the funding i would need to travel to chicago at this point. i will be getting a GST cheque back from the goverment as soon as i get back down to my temporary home but i think it'll probably only be about $50(cad), if that. sorry guys i was looking forward to meeting the people that do attend, but perhaps if there is #doomcon3 i will have gotten my life back in order to accommodate such a trip.

i can't stay over till the 19th, sorry. I am planning on arriving on the 15th (evening) and will have to leave on the 18th (morning), leaving us with 2 whole days of hot, steamy, uncensored ... con.
