Okay, so in order to prove this to Afterglow I am breaking the ~2 week torpor silence with some activities I have participated in during the current semester! Some of these may be kind of boring, and some may excite you beyond your wildest dreams. Probably closer to the former, but whatever. After that feel free to mod this down because you're all fags!

Okay, I don't remember what happened in September except it was one of my aptmate's birthdays, so a bunch of people came over and we had cake and crap, and that was it. The next weekend (this may have been early October but I dunno) was a friend's birthday so I went to his party thing at his dorm and drank a lot and I kissed some random girl who I'd met like 20 mins before and she didn't kick me in the nuts (always a plus when that occurs, the lack of being kicked in the nuts I mean). The great part about that is that I don't remember doing, at least only very vaguely. The next day her and her other friend came over though and me and my friend (the birthday one, he was severely drunk by the way, he puked twice at the end of the night about one foot away from me both times, pretty gross) hung out with them and ended up going to a neighboring college (the same one my ex goes to actually) because of some retarded issue that I'm not even entirely sure of, but we got back here at like 3am and watched a movie and left at like 5am on a Sunday night.

The weekend after that I went home, but I got back on Sunday and me and all my aptmates (five of us at the time) went to this place for food that was pretty good but the name escapes me at the moment (something Bones...). The there was a bunch of watching of the world series and one of the games we were at someone else's birthday and the Yankees lost (hoorj) which was cool except my aptmate and I started punching each other really hard (probably due to the drinking) and I had a huge bruise on my right upper arm for like 2 weeks that was really gross looking.

And then there was another weekend (the next one?) we went to some club thing (Wild River is the name of it I think, but that could be way wrong, I'm pretty bad with names) that was fun except I'm pretty nervous when it comes to those types of places and I was not drunk despite having three shots of rum and a beer, so I was in no position to make a fool out of myself, though some girl did push me a bunch of times for no reason. She was surprisingly strong for such a small person too, I remember getting pushed backwards quite a bit...

Last weekend I was at the same friend's dorm drinking again, but I didn't really feel like getting drunk, plus they had this punch shit that supposedly had a lot of alcohol in it, but I had five cups of it and I felt absolutely nothing, so instead I went out into the parking lot and threw a football around with some people until the cops drove by (most people there were drinking and under 21, which gets you kicked out of school). So then I was kind bored because I didn't know too many people at that party (and I was kinda hoping the chick I kissed would be there, but to no avail) so I went back to my dorm (a 30 second walk) and watched south park and then came back there for a bit and then left again, so that was a pretty weak weekend I guess.

Oh and there was another weekend where I played pool, that was pretty cool because I won one match even tho I hadn't played for years, but my aptmate (who plays quite a bit) wasn't really trying, so it's not a real victory, but I'll take what I can get.

And then on Friday I went to see Matrix Revolutions after class. I'd have gone with someone but everyone I knew had already seen it, so I went myself, good movie, I liked it. Anyways then when I got back my aptmate was like "dude wanna see Elf?" and I was like "sure" and so we went and didn't have to pay because our friend works at the movies. And then after Elf we watched Runaway Jury (really good) and Scary Movie 3 (really, really shitty) and got back and played X-Box until like 3am. Yesterday I didn't really do much, I should have studied but instead I played some Genesis roms.

Yeah that reminds me, I downloaded every (good dump) of every Genesis rom ever. I don't know why, but it's been cool because I really liked the Genesis, and it was the only console I ever owned (well I have a GBA too) and even though probably close to 80% of the games are shit or I'll never play them, it's fun in a nerdy sort of way to own all those fucking roms. Plus I'm stickin it to the man! YEAH!

So there, I haven't been lonely this semester, despite being in #doom all the time (-Cacodemon:#doom- Stat for Cyb: 16.9 hrs/day (NO LIFE), 4.7k chatter/day, but the usage is because I never disconnect) and being a nerd. So there Afterglow, I hope you enjoyed it! Now if you excuse me I have to attempt to study for my computation theory exam (blah).

Someone should setup Torpor to mirror people's individual blog posts. Moveable type has an rss feed, so it shouldn't be that hard.
